Approved by the Education Department of Henan Province, our College, in partnership with SEGi University, Malaysia, has launched a junior college level education program in Construction Engineering Technology.

This program is exclusively organized and managed by the School of Civil Engineering. This three-year junior college program is part of the official college enrollment plan. It began enrolling students in 2019. In April 2022, the Education Department of Henan Province approved an extension of the enrollment period to 2024. The program passed the provincial evaluation on Sino-foreign cooperative education in 2023. In March 2024, the enrollment period was further extended to 2027 upon approval by the Department, making it the longest-running and most mature Sino-foreign cooperative education program at the College.

To ensure the quality of students in the cooperative program, both parties have jointly formulated the talent training program and course syllabi, and implemented teaching and management in accordance with the cooperation agreement. SEGi University provides more than one-third of the program's total courses and teaching resources, conducts more than one-third of the course instruction, and evaluates teaching quality, thereby supporting the development of graduates with an international vision and global employment competitiveness. For students who choose to continue their studies in the corresponding major at SEGi University midway through the program, all credits obtained at our College will be fully recognized by SEGi University.

As one of the first Malaysian higher education institutions recommended by the Ministry of Education of China for overseas study, SEGi University offers 11 major disciplinary fields and 60 undergraduate and postgraduate majors. Civil and architectural engineering are traditional and flagship majors at SEGi University, with a strong faculty of over 70 educators, more than 40% of whom hold doctoral degrees. The university offers more than 30 specialized courses covering the core curricula in civil and architectural engineering. Aiming to develop students' professional qualifications and competencies, SEGi University offers diploma and undergraduate programs in civil and architectural engineering.
