To actively respond to the Belt and Road cooperation and the strategy of "Vocational Education Going Global", and to broaden the college's perspective on international exchange and industrial technology application, Vice President Bao Yonggang, together with the Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center and eight alumni entrepreneur representatives, paid an inspection visit to the China-Hungary (Zhengzhou) International Cooperation and Industrial Technology Application Demonstration Center on the afternoon of July 24, under the overall coordination of the External Liaison and Cooperation Center (Alumni Association).

The Demonstration Center, as the first official international cooperation project in Henan province, was established on November 29, 2024 through the collaboration among the Zhengzhou Municipal Government, the Hungarian Innovation Agency and the Henan Representative Office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency. It focuses on technological R&D, industrial technology application, and talent cultivation, with a goal of building a collaborative innovation platform for research institutions and enterprises from both China and Hungary.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Demonstration Center's office areas and its business and culture exhibition hall, gaining a systematic understanding of its four core functions: international science and technology cooperation, international trade cooperation, international education cooperation, and international cultural exchange and cooperation. At the symposium, Zhang Ya, Director of the Demonstration Center, extended a warm welcome to the delegation, gave a detailed introduction to the Center's development, and affirmed its commitment to building cooperation platforms to support further bilateral exchanges. Vice President Bao Yonggang provided a comprehensive overview of the college's development, covering the upgrading of educational facilities, the improvement of the talent cultivation system, remarkable breakthroughs in scientific research, the ongoing expansion of social services, solid progress in innovation and entrepreneurship, and the deepening of international exchanges and cooperation. The introduction fully showcased the college's development achievements and future plans, giving the Demonstration Center a deeper insight into the college.

The head of the External Liaison and Cooperation Center (Alumni Association) proposed an initiative of "Three Enhancements". He expressed hope that the college and enterprises would use this visit as an opportunity to enhance connections, strengthen communication, and enhance mutual understanding. He also stated that the Alumni Association would fully leverage its role as a bridge and bond to help foster friendship and deepen cooperation between the two sides. The head of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center noted that the "Vocational Education Going Global" is both a national strategy and a key priority for the college. The college will actively explore resources to promote the effective implementation of relevant collaborations.

During the exchange session, both parties engaged in enthusiastic discussions on new pathways for "Vocational Education Going Global". The eight alumni entrepreneur representatives introduced their respective enterprises and shared their entrepreneurial journeys, successful experiences, and resource advantages. They unanimously expressed their willingness to further cooperate with both the college and the Demonstration Center.

The visit yielded fruitful results. It not only helped establish a new platform for the college to engage in international cooperation with enterprises, thereby broadening the horizons for international exchange and collaboration, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in areas such as joint talent cultivation, resource sharing, and collaborative innovation. Furthermore, it helped consolidate the strength of alumni entrepreneurs, injecting new vitality into the work of the Alumni Association.
