On June 16, the award ceremony for the first "Shuihuan Cup" Campus Cultural and Creative Design Competition was held on the first floor of Deli Auditorium, marking the successful conclusion of the nearly two-month-long event. Competition judges, award-winning contestants, representatives of faculty and students, and relevant staff from the Party Committee Publicity and United Front Work Department attended the ceremony to jointly witness the achievements of the competition.

Themed "Youthful 'Water' Rhymes, Creative 'Memories' Together," the competition centered on the core concept of 'Water and Memories' to solicit cultural and creative works from across the university. The event received an enthusiastic response upon its launch, with 62 submission emails received. Over 110 faculty and students participated in the creation process, resulting in the collection of more than 300 works. A professional judging panel evaluated the entries across six dimensions: creativity, cultural significance, practicality, craftsmanship, artistry, and feasibility. Following stages of collection, preliminary selection, comprehensive review, and public exhibition, the competition ultimately awarded three first prizes, five second prizes, seven third prizes, as well as multiple excellence awards, outstanding instructor awards, and outstanding organization awards.

During the award ceremony, the host first introduced the overall progress of the competition, followed by two segments: an appreciation of this year's award-winning works and a retrospective of the cultural and creative works from the 2025 70th Anniversary of the School's Founding Achievement Exhibition. The large screen showcased a diverse array of outstanding entries, including campus IP characters, practical daily-use cultural products, and sci-tech creations integrating 3D printing with eco-friendly materials. This comprehensively and multi-dimensionally demonstrated the solid design foundation and outstanding innovative thinking of the university's students. Meanwhile, the retrospective segment systematically reviewed the development trajectory of the university's cultural and creative initiatives, linking its profound cultural heritage and spiritual core, which earned high recognition and unanimous praise from the faculty and students present.

The successful conclusion of this cultural and creative competition has not only enriched the vibrant campus cultural life but also provided an excellent platform for creative display and interactive communication for all faculty and students. The event further explored, inherited, and promoted the university's distinctive campus culture, effectively stimulating the innovative vitality and deep affection for the school among all participants. Moving forward, the university will continue to deepen its campus cultural development, regularly plan and host various cultural and creative themed activities, actively guide faculty and students to create high-quality works that possess strong school identity, cultural appeal, and innovative vitality, thereby continuously empowering the high-quality development of campus culture.
